Drive to Sioux City, Iowa - Nebraska Side

Saturday October 1st, 2011 - This morning Mike Bruening and I took a leisurely dive to
 Sioux City following  Nebraska s Lewis & Clark Scenic Byway (Hy 75 & 77) Thru the
 Omaha & Winnebago Reservation with stops at the Tower of the Four Winds and
 Blackbird Scenic Overlook. We even found a painted  Discovery Dog in Dakota City.

Leave & Fort Calhoun
  We leave home at 9am. We drive thru Fort Calhoun passing the Metal Artwork at local
  business, Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Plant and an enzyme manufacturing plant.

Blair -Tower of the Four Winds @ BLack Elk-Neihardt Park
  After visiting the Interpretive Garden at the Tower of the Four Winds, We hiked around the tower and
  covered water reserves with a short rest at hanging benches. I even visited a hoop shaped picnic shelter.

  Here, we viewed recently flooded Missouri River from modern open air version of Omaha Indian Earthlodge.

We were driving thru Dakota City, just south of South Sioux City, Looking for
a old Railroad Depot turn trailhead, Instead we found an Lewis & Clark theme
Discovery Dog titled Dahkotah Dog in the center of town park..
