 Before Tree Lighting Ceremony

The tree was missing something, it was dark.  The Heartland Harmonizers Barbershop
Chorus fills the air with music and a long line is waiting to see Mr.& Mrs. Santa Claus.
Above - everyone received
this sticker to wear.

Below - The program for
the evening.

Next on the lower lever in the School room, we heard the Christmas story "Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus". Other
stories were told in the log Cabin and the train cars. Then we viewed the Holiday Miniatures (see right two photos).

The Tree Lighting Ceremony

Omaha Mayor Mike Fahey spoke at the 6:20pm tree lighting ceremony.  After the 5 sec countdown, The
Christmas tree did light the darken lobby.  It was followed by the Heartland Harmonizers Barbershop Chorus.

After the Ceremony

Now the lighted tree sparkled.  A good number of families had their picture take under the tree,
including the tree donor, the "Pierson Family" (bottom row)
