Family Festival

Saturday September 9th - this event were hold at various locations 10 to 4pm
      Omaha Children's Museum, W. Dale Clark Library, National Parks
      Service Building Joslyn Art Museum, Durham Western heritage Museum
      & Lauritzen Gardens
Teepee Hoop Dancing Lewis & Clark Exhibits
I only saw displays and attended activities at three location that afternoon: Park Service, Joslyn & Durharn


At National Parks Service Building - on the Omaha riverfront
  This were first location I visited mid-afternoon. It has info on Lewis & Clark Expedition & it's Bicentennial

A typical teepee was sat up just north of the Park Service building.
Its opening face east, an Indian tradition  - toward the river



At Joslyn Art Museum
  I saw in mind's Eye galley, "faces from the land: a Photographic Journey through Native America"- large
  print portraits, after viewing Hoop Dancing, below, by Jasmine Picker in the Witherspoon Concert Hall

At Durham Western heritage Museum
  It was after 4pm and All Lewis & Clark activities have ended here,
  but I viewed the new "buffalo" and "Lewis & Clark" exhibits.
